This book is written by the author who wrote Beneath a Marble Sky, which is one of my favorite books. I really enjoyed this book. It is about a World War II ship that is patrolling the South Pacific. It is torpedoed and the ship sinks except for a small group of survivor’s including the Captain, a few nurses, a stow away young boy and a Japanese prisoner. They are stranded on an island and they never expected the experiences that awaited them.
