The Girls - Lori Lansens This a novel about the story of conjoined twins. Although it is fiction it is an interesting look at how these girls live their day to day lives from young girls growing up in the country to living on their own in the city. This story is about their profound love for one another and they tell their story as they have decided to write their autobiography. This book was good and although I found the girls to be inspiring, it is a bit on the depressing side.

Mia Levy is a young girl growing up with her family in Poland until history took its course and the War began. Mia survives the poverty stricken streets of Poland and ends up in New York where she meets her soul mate. She wants however to find her family who she believes is in Auschwitz. This is about her journey to find them.
