I really liked this book. Perry has a low IQ but he says he is slow and NOT stupid. He is raised by his Gram who teaches him about life and people but when she dies he is on his own. HE wins the Lottery and the story shows his heartwarming journey and how he learns not only how to take care of himself but also others.

This book is a hoot! This book is so heartfelt you just can’t help fall in love with these characters. The book starts with Julia running away from her abusive fiancée and ends up on the other side of the country at her eccentric Aunt’s farm. This book is about strength and following your heart and these women have a very interesting way of going about that. You will laugh out loud and not believe what you are reading. This is one of my new favorites!!

A little about me and my site. I was born and raised in a suburb of Chicago. I spent some time at the University of Madison in Wisconsin and then graduated from Northeastern University in Chicago with a degree in Human Resources. I have lived in Florida, Milwaukee and currently I live in St. Louis Mo.( for almost 20 years). I worked for Jenny Craig for 13 years and it was a wonderful experience where I met a lot of great people and got to travel around the country for 6 of those years. s. I have been married for 13 years and have two wonderful children. I love to read and find there is just never enough time to get to all the great books out there. About 5 years ago I got the idea that I should start keeping track of all the great books I was reading and I started giving them a small review and then at the end of the year I would send out the list to all my friends. Over the years I have gotten great feedback about my list and nothing makes me happier then when someone chooses to read a book I have recommended and has enjoyed it, or has passed the list on to their friends or even their own book clubs. So now you won’t have to wait all year to see what I have been reading. My friends also know that I am ALWAYS looking for good books and asking them what they are currently reading. I hope this site will help my reading friends find some good books to read but to also share what they have enjoyed with me.
